Support Local Performance Artists with This Performance of The Young King

For the first time ever, PAS Arts Education puts an intimate story on Yardley Hall stage and limits the experience to 250 individuals per show. With so many shows focused solely on curriculum ties to math and science, the message of The Young King brings a human tenderness to our stage in a story about privilege, compassion and making ethical choices. The achingly beautiful and endearing language of Oscar Wilde joins the world of Slingsby Theatre from Australia.

Beyond the immaculate work of each and every performer, everything from the music, to the props, to the artwork was, in and of itself, a work of immense beauty. A reworked version of the original script by Oscar Wilde, the new story is intricate, raw and magical. Enhanced by miniature puppets and shadow play, this is a performance with stories that will linger in your mind long after the final bow.

Large school groups receive priority seating. General public seating is on a first-come/first-seated basis in sections to be determined. An usher will escort you to your seating area.

Regardless of age, each person attending the performance must have a ticket; “lap tickets” for infants may be purchased at the box office, 913-469-4445.

Even though Domain City Center Apartments in Lenexa, Kansas provides you with all of the comfort, convenience, and entertainment you could possibly desire, we encourage our residents to venture outside of our apartment community and explore all that the city has to offer!
