Welcome one and all to the season of sizzling bratwursts and sounds of oom-pah! Transport yourself to the heart of Munich with all the excitement of this wundervoll fall festival, Oktoberfest, in Downtown Lee’s Summit. That’s right—grab your lederhosen and dirndl and join 70,000 festival-goers for this festival, starting on Friday, September 27th.
Enjoy kid’s activities, arts and crafts, German fare, the Biergarten, a carnival, live entertainment, contests, homebrew tasting, dance performances, and much more. Please note that food and drink sales in the Biergarten, Sportzelt, and Brat Tents are cash only—so, good thing there are ATMs available on-site.
Oktoberfest is the major fundraiser for the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce, whose vision is to be the champion of regional business by creating opportunities for our members’ personal and business growth while providing influence to the communities we serve. The festival is free to attend, including all live entertainment and performances—just bring plenty of cash for brats, bier, and plenty of fun!
Free parking is available at the City Hall Parking Garage at 2nd and Green Street. Please refrain from bringing pets into the festival area. We hope to see you there.
