Tony Award-Winner, Annaleigh Ashford, makes her Kansas City Premier with an evening of song, story, and sequins in her critically-acclaimed, "Lost in the Stars." This event on Sunday, April 17, 2016 is for one-night only at Yardley Hall, Johnson County Community College.
With songwriter and music director, Will Van Dyke, in addition to the The Whiskey 5 Band, "Lost in the Stars" celebrates the classic cabaret with an eclectic mix of music. From the disco days of Donna Summer and the sing-a-longs of Alanis Morrisette to the haunting melodies of Stephen Sondheim and Kur Weill, this performance is meant to delight audiences of all backgrounds and ages. The songs are woven together through fabulous, funny, and most of all, heartfelt storytelling. After this glossy and glittery evening, you will be lost in the stars.
