Catch One of the Most Enduring 90s Bands Live in Concert This October

Alternative rock fans, listen up: The Foo Fighters Concrete and Gold Tour has added seven new headline dates to its North American itinerary, including a stop at Sprint Center in Kansas City on Friday, October 12. The North American leg of the tour is in support of the international #1 album Concrete and Gold. Gang of Youths will open the show.

Foo Fighters was founded by Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl in 1994, following Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain’s death. After multiple rounds of band member reorganization, the young band released its first album in July 1995. The self-titled debut was certified platinum within a year of its release. Their eight subsequent albums, released from 1997 to 2017 with the most recent being Concrete and Gold, have enjoyed immense success. Most are certified Platinum or Double Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Concrete and Gold Tour is the ninth and current concert tour by Foo Fighters. This tour marks the first time since November 2015 that the band has toured.

Joining Foo Fighters is Gang of Youths, an Australian indie rock group perhaps best known for their 2017 single “Let Me Down Easy.” Their critically acclaimed second album won four Australian Recording Industry Association awards, including Album of the Year, Best Group, Best Rock Album, and Producer of the Year.
