Mark Your Calendar for the Spinach Festival This Weekend

Lenexa was hailed as the Spinach Capital of the World during the 1930s. Each year, we celebrate that part of our history with the annual Spinach Festival, a fun, family-oriented event that draws thousands of visitors from all over the area. It’s a fun-filled day of food, music, entertainment, arts and antique vendors. Excitement throughout the day is set in beautifully renovated Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park and includes:

The festival features, cooking demonstrations, history exhibits by the Lenexa Historical Society, the world’s largest spinach salad (150 pounds of fresh, washed spinach!), kids’ activities including a baby crawling contents, and much more!

One of the main attractions is the Art, Fine Craft and Antique show, featuring a wonderful variety of items such as pottery, fused glass, repurposed furniture and items, jewelry, baskets, wood items, metal garden art, quilts, clothing, doll clothes and accessories, antiques and vintage items.

Step outside of our welcoming and comfortable community at Domain City Center Apartments in Lenexa, Kansas for the day! This event is coming to town on Saturday, and it promises to be a wonderful time!
