Looking for something fun to do this Fourth of July? Riverfest is the Midwest's premier Fourth of July celebration. Each year the festival welcomes families, friends and local businesses to Berkley Riverfont for a day of celebration and adventure. Check it out this Thursday beginning at 3:00 p.m.!
Celebrate the Fourth of July with the best fireworks show in the region, plus two stages of music, including a performance from the USAF Band of Mid-America's Jazz Ensemble. Grab a bite from one (or more) or KC’s best food trucks. Come thirsty – there will be adult and nonalcoholic beverages galore, from local brews to freshly squeezed lemonade and flavored teas.
Pick up your KC Riverfest Scavenger Hunt sheet at the Friends of the River KC Tent. Search the KC Riverfest site for the answers and turn it in for a prize. Children can join Scraps KC in the Kids Activity Tent and make a patriotic craft that transforms into something good for the environment!
There will also be shuttle service for attendees. Take the free KC Streetcar from any stop in downtown and get off at the 3rd & Grand stop (River Market North) and jump on the FREE KC RiverFest Shuttles to and from the park. Parking on-site at KC Riverfest is extremely limited, as new construction has greatly reduced the amount of parking on the grounds.
