Dive into a behind-the-scenes look at the art and artists (including the iconic Art Alley) and the dynamics shaping the rapidly changing Crossroads Arts District. Guides also discuss the dynamics affecting this rapidly changing area. End at The Parlor, an upscale food hall where you can grab a bite to eat or a drink or continue to explore all the bars, restaurants and boutiques of this creative district.
The tour will hit Kansas City's Art Alley but take you to other hidden gems as well. The tour also explores how street art has entered the mainstream and how the rapidly changing Crossroads area affects the art and artists. Kansas City Graffiti Tour starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday and runs approximately two hours. Guests meet in the parking lot at the northeast corner of 17th and Grand (Directly across Grand from Messeger's Coffee).
The tour ends at The Parlor, 1707 Locust. From The Parlor, guests can enjoy one of the many options offered at that upscale food hall, they can venture out to some of the other best bars and restaurants and galleries the Crossroads Arts District has to offer. A full refund will be issued for those that cancel at least 24 hours of the tour start time. The tour is held in English.
