If you’re like us, and simply can’t get through December without treating yourself to at least one leisurely stroll through a heavily lit neighborhood or park, check out the Holiday Luminary Walk at the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens. This annual event treats guests to a stunning display of elaborate lights, live music, horse-drawn wagon rides, and more. Ice Skating at The Ice at Park Place in Leawood or Crown Center Ice Terrace in Kansas City

Ice skating is the perfect family activity during the cold winter months. Bond with loved ones while working on your ice skating moves at The Ice at Park Place, an indoor facility in Leawood, or Crown Center Ice Terrace, an outdoor rink with partial overhead covering in Kansas City. Both venues will be open to visitors willing to socially distance and wear protective face masks. Don’t know how to ice skate? You can also attend short training sessions at either location for an additional fee!

Santa Claus Meet and Greet at Oak Park Mall in Overland Park

2020 has been a year for the books. Why not commemorate it with a masked photo with Santa Claus? Oak Park Mall is welcoming Santa Claus for a special holiday experience for the young and young-at-heart. However, there are a few special rules you’ll need to keep in mind. All visitors must wear a mask before, during, and after the photos, and the meet and greet experience will be totally contactless.
