Milk offers a rich source of calcium, essential for healthy bones and teeth. It is said that milk drinkers live longer and can reduce your risk of heart disease and stroke by 20 percent.
Despite the benefits for adults, it is very important for kids to drink milk. Children 2 to 3 years should drink 2 cups, children 4 to 8 years should drink 2 and a half cups, and children over nine years of age should drink three cups.
Curious to know why?
