Lenexa hosts a series of outdoor concerts on Sunday evenings in the months of May and June. Presented by the Lenexa Arts Council and the Parks are Recreation Departments, these series of concerts are among the most treasured of Lenexa’s events. We encourage you to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and, of course, dinner as you cozy up next to the stage and enjoy an evening of music.
Scheduled for May 15, 2016, Grand Marquis takes the stages, pumping out the hot swinging jazz and jumping blues they are so well known for. Their latest studio album, “Blues and Trouble”, features twelve new, original songs, which consistently chart Roots Radio’s Top 10. The album has also garnered attention from a variety of publications.
