Mark Your Calendars for the Operation: War Fare Cooking Competition

The country’s first annual WWI-themed cooking competition goes even more international in 2016 as Operation: War Fare returns Thursday, Aug. 4 in J.C. Nichols Auditorium at the National World War I Museum and Memorial.

This year’s event features The Chew contributor, MasterChef Australia star and Dude Food author Dan Churchill, Kansas City native and chef/owner at New York City restaurant Speedy Romeo Justin Bazdarich, Grünauer’s Nic Bandelier, Renee Kelly of Renee Kelly’s Harvest, and James-Beard Nominated Room 39 owner Ted Habiger.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail hour and complimentary food from the participants with the competition set to begin at 6:30 p.m.

Even though Domain City Center Apartments in Lenexa, Kansas provides you with all of the comfort, convenience, and entertainment you could possibly desire, we encourage our residents to venture outside of our apartment community and explore all that the city has to offer!
