Please put Saturday, June 17 on your calendar. It's the Heart of America Barbershop Chorus’ 71st Annual Show, Songs of the Spirit. It will be held at the Bell Center (Mid-American Nazarene University) in Olathe. Along with our chorus, we are featuring two top-twenty International Quartet Headliners: Throwback, the 2016, 5th place International Medalists, and Harmonium, 17th in International competition in 2016. We will also be presenting some of the winners of our Harmony Explosion Youth Workshop. This show will be special, and the youth groups will surprise you!
HOA (a non-profit organization) would love to have your support, not just because you'll get great entertainment, but because your ticket purchases help perpetuate our chapter and our community involvement. This is our #1 fundraiser, which enables us to continue using our singing to help organizations like The Salvation Army, for whom we've raised over $100,000 in the last 10 years ($20,000 in 2016 alone). We help support Children's Mercy Hospital and their Hearing and Speech Center. It also helps us attract District and International Conventions to Kansas City (6 thus far), which have resulted in bringing over $50 million to Kansas City over the last 60 years.
Ticket pricing is $30, and all seating is general admission.
